From the dvd:
RC-DVD series is a series of 3 DVDs about RC cars, designed tomake it more fun to own a remote control car. The series is produced by people who love rc cars. Our goal has been to get the best people, to give their advice and guidance, so you can get more out of your car, and we have succeeded!
See for yourself on the DVDs how much you can achieved with a good little advice, whether it comes to electric on-road cars, the nitro engine or nitro cars -or whether you think it’s fun to drift with the cars, and style and paint the cars -like we think.
On this DVD Max Pedersen takes us through all sections of the nitro car, and gives tips for both you are considering buying a nitro car, and for you who want more out of the nitrocar you already have, whether it is an on-road or an off-road buggy. Max is off-road driver and therefore the DVD has been based on an off-road nitro buggy, but virtually everything he says about the car and especially nitro engine structure applies to both on-road and off-road nitro cars.
The useful chapter on the dvd about the car setup, and also the driving tutorials, can be used by all people who is driving off-road.
The DVD’s perhaps most important section is how to treat your nitro engine first time you start it. The breaking in of the nitro engine is incredibly important and that is where most damage and failure of nitro engines occurs. The DVD is obviously not a substitute for the manual that comes with the car, but when you’ve seen this section, you are sure to understand the manual, and not to do lasting damage to your nitro engine.
Here is something for those who like to play. Casper Heiberg, who is probably one of the country’s best to style and paint, takes a common entry-level RTR-car to another level with a few cheap extras, and get it to run much faster and look much better.
Casper also takes styling a step further and shows step by step how to paint a blank LEXAN body. With this in the DVD player is no longer something to be nervous when you have to paint your first or second body yourself.
You’ve seen it done, and perhaps even tried it. If you want to show the others how it’s done, there is no alternative to Yari and Marco and the other from the DTI. Therefore, we took the plane to the Adria Raceway in Italy, to meet the master drifters of the Drift Team Italia - better it is not available. Yari and Marco share the secrets of how to take Drifting to "the next level". Learn to drive and how you can set your car up so it can be done. There are also sections on how you construct a good drifting track.
Finally, there is a bonus section from Adria, with a cool footage from Italy’s best drift race. And this time it is not RC cars but real cars. Salvatore tells how to get his car to run around the track, wich seems to be almost the same tips as Yari and Marco came up with.
